Happy Monday loves; welcome to another Face Mask Monday (FMM) and Day 2 of my 28 days of blogging! Hope you enjoyed the first episode. Today I am talking about a very popular mask; Lush's Mask of Magnaminty. can you believe I have never tried it all these years however I decided to finally give it a go. I got the Self-Preserving one as I always en up forgetting to use the fresh face masks and they go to waste.
It looks like a green goey mess but let me tell you it smells so good; I find that Lush masks are very deceiving; they smell like food but are certainly not meant for the stomach.
The Lush Mask of Magnaminty is a 2 in 1 one mask; it has bits in it so it's a scrub and a mask which works well for me and otehr lazy girls out there (I salute you!); no need to use two different products; an exfoliator and a mask.
There's Ground Aduki beans which is what makes it an exfoliator and it polishes the skin and renews it by removing any dead skin cells on the surface revealing new and radiant skin.
Now I feel like I must explain my FRO; it was washday last night and I had just finished with my shampoo and conditioner and I thought to put a mask on and multitask as I do.
Now onto the ingredient that gives this mask its minty smell, feel and name; that is Peppermint oil; this has a cooling effect of the skin and helps to calm the skin; espescially with harsh weather.
Honey is also a key ingredient in this skin; honey is amazing as an antisceptic and moisturises the skin. Quick tip; you can always just smear pure honey on your face as a DIY mask when you feel like your skin needs a pick me up.
Kaolin which is a clay and it cleanses and exfoliates the skin and this is what the mask is mostly made up of. These are the key ingredients in this mask.
Sipping on my tea '___'
Result; the Lush mask of magnaminty made my skin really soft and glowy and I left it on for a while and I feel that even the few pesky spots on my face are less angry; this mask surely does leave your skin feeling soft and luxurious and I can't wait to use it again. Also this mask can be used on the body as well if you wish. This mask is suitable for ALL skins; sensitive or not as it heals and calms the skin and is not in no way harsh. I do believe this is a product worth trying; you can get it from Lush (here).
Have you tried this mask before? Have you tried other Lush masks? Which one would you recommend to me? Let me know down below.

Have a lovely week!
So we're not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. ~ 2 Corinthians 4vs16
