Review : Limecrime velvetine liquid lipstick in 'Wicked' ♥♥

Hey dolls; how goes it? I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Today I am going to talk about this amazing lip colour I have been loving lately!! If you follow me on Instagram (which you should; please follow :) ) you would have seen that I was at Imats London and I purchased some Limecrime products.

I have been oggling Limecrime products for the longest and of course we don't have it readily available here in the UK (story of our lives) so I was pleased to see it at Imats. A lot of the collection was obviously sold out (just my luck) so the only velvetine lipstick left there was 'Wicked'.
I had my eye on Salem as well and all of them to be honest but alas I purchased 'wicked'.

This velvetine liquid lipstick is so creamy and opaque; it goes on so smoothly and it is highly pigmented so you don't need to add several coats; one coating is enough.
The velvetines are described as a waterproof matte liquid lipstick an it completely dries to a matte finish; it reminds me of a much higher quality of the Bourjois velvet rouge edition.
The lipstick is also very long wearing as it stayed on all day; through me being at work for 8 hours eating drinking and of course chatting away as usual.

Onto the rest of my face, I am wearing the Artdeco Skin Perfecting makeup-base as a primer; this primer is silicone-free so it will non -comodegenic and not break you out.
The foundation I am wearing is the Dior Nude skin-glowing makeup and this foundation has completely shitted all over my Nars; I love it to the moon and back.
To conceal I used the Makeup For Ever Full cover concealer and Mac Prep+prime in bright forecast.
To contour I used my Sleek face form in dark and the Nars blush in seduction.
And to powder I used the Mac mineralise skinfinish natural in Dark Deep.

Onto my brows; I filled in my brows with the Sleek makeup brow stylist which I have been loving. On my eyes I started with MAC painterly paint pot; I then put Mac phloof all over the lids and swiss chocolate to calm the colour down a bit. I added swiss chocolate as a transition colour in my crease and then added Embark to the outer V. In my inner corner I added woodwinked. The liner I used was Inglot 77 which I was so happy I could get my hands on at Imats. The lashes are Ardell demi wispies as usual.

You can purchase Velvetine here and here.

Have you tried Limecrime before? Let me know in the comments.

  5. That first shot of you is fierce, especially your model-ready stare. I've heard some negative things about Lime Crime's founder, but I love how matte this lipstick is and the shade you have on is beautiful.

    Another Beautiful Thing
