World's AIDS Day (1st December)

Today is Worlds AIDS Day...
It gives me time to have a sombre reflection; am lucky enough to live in the UK with a roof over my head; a whole variety of clothes, heels, boots and even the priviledge of having a heater that I control and sometimes I sleep with the lights on......I am even guilty of being a glutton sometimes
And
There are many children in the world who are infected with HIV/AIDS that might not even live to see the 1st of January 2012.
It truly saddens me that families are going through this and it's not because they were promiscuous..
However, today is the day that all people can unite, show our empathy and help in one way or the other.
At uni, people were selling ribbons for a donation and anyone who donated in one way or the other, well done. :)
